The new iPhone is expected out at the beginning of September.

We're tipped to get an iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus/Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

And now industry analysts at say that the iPhone 14 Pro models will have 256GB of storage as standard.

For contrast, last year's iPhone 13 Pro started with 128GB of storage.

That's half the new amount rumoured for the iPhone 14 Pro.

Last year's standard iPhone 13 came with 128GB as default.

So it seems likely that the same will be true for the entry-level 2022 iPhone 14.

Normally you'd have to pay £100/$100 to upgrade from 128GB to 256GB of storage.

That means you could end up saving a significant chunk of money if you prefer having more storage on your device.

Of course, Apple could potentially charge more for the Pro model as standard – undoing any savings.

Sadly Apple hasn't confirmed this rumour so it's impossible to say if it's true.

We won't know the full details of the iPhone 14 line-up until the official Apple event on September 7.
