APPLE has unveiled the new iPhone today alongside three new Apple Watches.

The tech titan's "Far Out" event took place at its California HQ at 1 p.m. EST (6 p.m. UK time), with the iPhone 14 release date finally revealed.

When is the iPhone 14 out? Reveal and release dates

Apple sticks to a fairly regular release schedule for its flagship iPhone series.

This year, Apple is hosted a special event called "Far Out" on September 7.

The company revealed the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Apple chief Tim Cook took to the stage at the Steve Jobs Theater and showed off the new wares.

The iPhone 14 will be released on September 16.

Almost all of the phones will release on Friday, September 16 apart from one.

That's the iPhone 14 Plus and it will be released on October 7.

All of the iPhone 14 models will run on Apple's latest version of iOS.
