Apex Legends Season 14 release date and Kings Canyon update details
APEX Legends is about to enter Season 14 and it’s going to bring big changes to the game’s meta.
We have a new legend entering the game in the form of Vantage, the first character with a sniper kit.

There will be changes to the Kings Canyon map as well as a number of balance and quality of life changes.
Importantly, there will also be an increase to the level cap.
Here’s everything that will be coming to Apex Legends in Season 14: Hunted.
When does Apex Legends Season 14 start?
Apex Legends Season 14 will start from August 9, at 6 p.m. in the U.K.

However, before it drops, a list of patch notes and a launch trailer will give us further details.
Who is the new legend Vantage?
Xiomara Contrares, also known as Vantage, comes from the frozen planet of Pàgos, where everything is a predator.
She was raised by her mother who was an escaped convict, and has been trained on how to survive in the wild.
When Vantage was exploring the wreckage of a prison transport ship she found out the truth about her mother.

However, she accidentally triggered a distress beacon and was picked up by the authorities before being thrown into the Apex Games.
She has entered alongside her pet, a creature that looks like a bat.
What are the changes to Kings Canyon?
Respawn has announced a big number of Kings Canyon map changes.
On the official Apex Legends website it says: “Time changes everything, and Kings Canyon is no exception.
“What will rise from the ashes of the past?”
We now know what this cryptic messaging means for Apex Legends.
Skull Town, the Cage, Hillside and Broken relay have all been changed.
There’s also many new routes to explore and ambush from.
Close-quarters combat is being highly encouraged with the new set up of the map.
How will the level cap increase in Apex Legends?
Respawn has also let us know that the Apex Legends level cap is being increased.

The previous 500 level cap has had a serious bump, as well as the number of Apex Packs.
The change means everyone is guaranteed to find at least one Heirloom Shard if they max out their level.
What are the new weapon balances in Apex Legends?
A number of weapons will now take new ammo in Apex Legends.
Two weapons will change ammo to encourage use of underused guns.
Apex Legends’ EVA-8 has also been upgraded to help with balance issues.
Which guns will return in Season 14?
Two guns return in Season 14, and a weapon upgrade will also make a comeback.
Apex Legends introduces Laser Sights which will replace a current upgrade.
