How to watch the black moon tonight and where is the best place to see it in the UK?

The best chance to see the rare black moon will be the early hours of tomorrow morning.

The best place to see the black moon is outside but some may be left disappointed as they probably won't be able to see much as the moon will appear invisible and the sky will mainly be dark.

Also cloud cover could potentially obscure the phenomenon completely.

Some conspiracy theorists have claimed this is a sign that the end of the world is in sight.

A Black Moon only ever occurs when there are two new moons in the same month, the unusual phenomenon only appears every 32 months.

Where you live depends on when you will be able to see the event.

Those living in the Eastern Hemisphere will have to wait until the end of October to see the moon.

The next black moon won't occur until July 2019.
