THE rumors of a new MacBook Air have just been confirmed.
Apple revealed its brand new MacBook Air at its World Wide Developers Conference on Monday in California.
The gadget is 11.3mm thin and extremely light.
Apple says it's thinner, lighter, and faster than ever.
It comes in four finishes including gold and black options.
It also includes Apple's M2 chip.

It starts at $1199 and will be available next month.
Apple says the M1 MacBook Air will also be staying in the line-up for $999.
Features on the new MacBook Air
There's a four-speaker sound system on board, with a three-microphone array for audio capture.

Apple says there's a full-height function row, and a Force Touch trackpad to boot.
You'll get up to 18 hours of video playback according to Apple, which is described as "all day battery life".
The wedge shape of the old Air is gone – there's a blockier new design akin to the recent MacBook Pro models.
Apple says the new MacBook Air is 20% smaller than the previous model.
It weighs just 2.7 pounds and comes in Silver, Space Grey, Starlight and Midnight color options.
Thankfully, Apple has brought back the MagSafe charger reintroduced with the latest Pro models.
This means the charger will snap on and snap off with ease.
It's got a headphone jack, which many Apple fans have been asking for.

There's a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with smaller bezels, reaching 500 nits – that's 20% brighter than before.
And it has a wide color gamut that can display a billion colors.
