The impressive home is selling for almost $5.3million (£4.3million).

Zuckerberg and other Facebook founders rented the large house back in 2004.

At the time they were paying $5,500 a month for the Californian property.

Zuckerberg, 37, Dustin Moskovitz, 37, and Sean Parker, 42, all stayed at the house.

Fans of the 2010 film The Social Network may remember some of the dramatized events between the trio.

The film includes a reference to a real-life incident involving a zip line that the entrepreneurs attached from the chimney so they could fly over the swimming pool.

Their former pad is being listed by Crystal Souza and Hannah Isaka of Live Play Real Estate.

The listing states: "The famous Facebook house…is located in the prestigious country club neighborhood of Los Altos

"This slice of Silicon Valley history sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with a personalized sound wall in the expansive backyard and gazebo perfect for barbecues and get-togethers."

The home is 2,969 square feet and has six bedrooms and four full-size bathrooms.

Facebook interns and engineers would have walked into the rooms there as they came to help out Zuckerberg.

The property sold for $250,000 in 1998 so it's gone up a lot in price since then.

It's where Zuckerberg stayed as Facebook went from having hundreds of thousands of users to millions.
