Once in this submenu, you will see an option to turn off the autorotate feature and turn on face detection.
You should turn on both features so your phone is still able to autorotate when you turn it on its side, but will face the right way when you're lying down.
Android 12 offers other hidden features that can improve users experience.
Aside from the face detection system, the Android 12's quick menu allows to customize the setting tiles and adjust it to their preferences.
