People are just realising three hidden Sky hacks that instantly improve your TV
YOUR Sky box is full of secret tricks to make telly time even easier.
From faster typing to finding your remote, these hacks have you covered.
Faster way to type to search
The easiest way to find stuff on Sky Q is by using your voice.
But if you don't feel comfortable talking into the remote there are some ways to make typing simpler too.
This workaround is a bit like the old days when texting on a smartphone.
Have you noticed that each number has letters underneath it?

These are there so you can get letters quickly without having to navigate from side to side with an on-screen keyboard.
For example, tap 2 once for A, twice for B and three times for C, etc.
Find your lost remote on Sky Q
It's easy to misplace your remote and a pain to try and find it.
Whether you've lost it down the side of the sofa or left it under a pile of belongings, this trick will sort you out.
The Sky Q remote has a built-in beeper.
To trigger it, you just need to press the Q button on the front of your Sky Q box.
The remote control will then beep loudly for 30 seconds, so listen out.
There's also another way that might help, and that's downloading Sky Q's free virtual remote for your smartphone.
Swap back to the previous channel
Press up and down on the channel buttons is too long if you're hopping between two channels that aren't close by.
Even typing the number out each time is a chore.
Fortunately, there's a button to easily go back to the last channel you were on.
It works using two different methods, depending on the remote that you have.
