PS Plus is Sony's online subscription service that you'll need to sign up to if you intend to play online multiplayer games (unless it's a free-to-play title).
Your PS Plus membership also comes with a number of other benefits to keep you coming back each month.
That includes free PS4 and PS5 games, member-exclusive sales and discounts, exclusive in-game content, Share Play, and 100GB cloud storage.
There are three subscription plans to choose from – monthly, quarterly, and annual:

That means it's just £24.99 / €29.99 for a 12-month membership. That's a saving of £25 / €30.
