FIFA 21: Release date, price, new features and player ratings for latest EA Sports football game

FANS have already been delving into the latest instalment of FIFA 21 after its early access on October 6.

But as of Friday the world famous footy game released worldwide, giving gamers the chance to get to grips with a raft of new changes - including an overhaul of the career mode.

When was the FIFA 21 early access release date?

Those who purchased the Champions and Ultimate Editions of the game were given early access to FIFA 21 on Tuesday, October 6.

But those not willing to splash the cash further had to wait until Friday, October 9 for the Standard Edition.

And you can purchase the game now for PS4, PC and Xbox One.

If you wish to play on the new PS5 and Xbox Series X, you will have to wait until the next generation consoles are released in November.

But EA Sports' Dual Entitlement scheme means you can upgrade your FIFA 21 copy from your current platform to your next-gen gaming system for free.

How much does FIFA 21 cost?

Unsurprisingly, FIFA 21 doesn't come cheap, and its three varying editions mean a difference in cost.

The Standard Edition sets you back around £49.99 on PS4 and Xbox One.

Meanwhile, the Champions Edition - which gives you three days early access, along with a host of Ultimate Team benefits - costs £79.99.

And the Ultimate Edition that also comes with early access and extra FUT rewards and packs, will make an £89.99 hole in your pocket.

Is there a FIFA 21 demo?

Fans of FIFA - like all games - look forward to getting their first glimpse in the demo.

However, this year, EA Sports have decided not to release one.

The games company declared that they are focussing on development for the upcoming releases of PS5 and Xbox Series X.
