The Google Play Store is battling almost constantly with cybercriminals trying to upload apps full of malware.

Google does have extensive security measures but sometimes apps can slip through the net.

Google deletes malicious apps as soon as a problem is spotted but sometimes this is too late for people who have already downloaded them.
