RECENT leaks suggest Samsung could be announcing its latest flagship phone and iPhone rival as early as August 5.
The hotly anticipated Galaxy Note 20 has been the subject of many rumours and fans are also expecting a Z Flip 5G.
of Front Page Tech, has tweeted that a source has said August 5 will be a big Samsung announcement date.
He tweeted that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Fold 2 and ZFlip 5G will all be revealed.
This date fits in with other previous rumours.
Prosser also said that the devices would then be launched on August 20.
Rumours from earlier in the year suggest that the Note 20 will have very similar specs to the Galaxy S20.
However, a larger screen and, of course, the S-Pen are expected.
The Note 20 is said to have a 6.4-inch display and the Note 20+ is expected to have a whopping 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display.
It's also been predicted that Samsung will cut back on the curved screen and will make some camera modifications, which could involve three sharp shooting cameras.
As with all rumours, we have to take this information with a pinch of salt until Samsung gives official word.
The company's quarterly earnings stated: "Looking ahead to the second quarter … the company will continue to offer differentiated products in the premium segment with the launch of new foldable and Note models."
Samsung appears happy to go ahead with the launches despite anticipating reduced smartphone demand.
