KEANU Reeves has reunited with co-star Alex Winter on the set of Bill & Ted 3.
Reprising their rocker roles, Keanu, 54, who plays Ted, and Alex, who plays his buddy Bill, reunited for the first time in over 28 years in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The much-anticipated flick is set to be released in the summer of 2020.
And diehard fans will be pleased to hear the famous phone booth, which sent the dim-witted travellers back in time, was also spotted on the set.
Keanu was photographed in a red button up shirt and grey trousers, while Alex, 53, wore a blue and yellow checked shirt and casual blue trousers.
Both wore trainers to complement their ageing rocker look.
As well as the famous duo, other classic characters are also set to reappear in the film, including Sacagawea and Gandhi, confirming that Bill and Ted will be bringing more historical figures back with them to the future.
Since the American comedy series began back in 1989, British-born actor Alex has appeared in a few short films as well as documentaries.
He most recently appeared in Zappa, a documentary film on musician Frank Zappa’s archives.
In a startling contrast, Keanu has gone on to appear in hit movies such as Point Break, The Matrix trilogy and most recently John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
