BAD TO THE DOME

9 bald hard men that looked so much friendlier with hair – Mr Worldwide goes from Pitbull to Poodle

LAST week we saw that scientists were edging ever closer to a cure for baldness with a ‘critical breakthrough.’

This was good news for balding men everywhere, but some celebs have embraced baldness and made it part of their hard men character.
Should they try to grow their hair back or stick with their hard man image?

Let’s go back in time and take a look through Hollywood’s most famous bald leads before they lost their hair.

Bruce Willis

One of the most lovable hard men of Hollywood, Bruce Willis is the puppy dog of the hard men world.

However, cross him and he’ll end you.

A few of you will know him from Die Hard where he did have hair, but that was a long time ago and he’s pretty much been bald ever since.

Well, I stumbled upon an absolutely cracking head shot photo of Bruce that’ll make you wonder how he wasn’t the lead in every romcom of the ‘90s.

The name’s Bald, James Bald.

I would share a lovely picture of Connery playing the iconic James Bond, but I’d much rather share this image from the film ‘Zardoz.’

You’re welcome.

The Rock

For the majority of the world, The Rock has always been bald.

This most likely occurred because his muscles scared his hair away, but in his wrestling days, a young Dwayne Johnson would rock some fantastic hair.

Now this is a timeless look

Vin Diesel

The man with the deepest voice in the world.

I was under the impression that Vin Diesel came out of the womb bald and remained that way until today.

To my surprise, this is not true.

Have a gander at this Vin Diesel headshot that will have every lady for a 1,000 miles weak at the knees.

Mike Tyson

Out of fear for my life, I have no bad words to say about Mr Tyson.

He’s been bald for a few years (I’m sure by choice) and that face tattoo is a lovely fresh look that he definitely shouldn’t regret.

However, just take a look at the man when he had hair.

If you think he’s a hard man now, take a look at this brute.

I will do literally anything you say sir.

Jason Statham

From 'The Transporter' to 'Fast & Furious,' Jason Statham plays a wide variety of characters.

He plays everything from a hard man who beats up a lot of people, to a hard man who beats up even more people.

A modern day Daniel Day-Lewis.

However, did you know that Mr Statham used to be a diver?

No, I’m not joking this time. Take a look at this mane of hair.

Terry Crews

The former NFL player turned to acting in the late ‘90s.

Even though the majority of his roles are comedic, there is no doubt that Terry Crews is a hard man.

I honestly couldn’t think what he’d look like with hair and then I stumbled across this gem.

Sporting a very ‘00s look, I finally got to see what the big man looks like with turf on the pitch.

Not going to lie... I'm a fan.

Mark Strong

I mean it’s in his name, isn’t it?

Mark Strong hadn’t always played hard man roles, but I think it’s fair to say he’s made it work for him in recent years.

He’s got an intimidating face with that perfectly bald dome, but rewind back to his role in the Jane Austin novel ‘Emma’ and he looks like the kindest man in all the land.

Mr Worldwide has had an incredible career for some only seems to say the names of places he’s been in songs.

Possibly the baldest man in the world, Pitbull might not necessarily be an actual hard man, but he acts like one and that still counts.

How do I make his hard man image disappear with one photo? Like this:

He had a slightly different look back in the day.
