ROLLERCOAST-ARGH

World’s longest, fastest and tallest dive roller coaster has a 250ft drop into an underwater tunnel – so would you ride it?

Riders plummet to the ground at 80mph before flying through a narrow concrete tunnel

THRILLSEEKERS have been strapped into the world's fastest and tallest roller coaster for the very first time.

A number of lucky guests tested out The Yukon Striker this week at Canada's Wonderland theme park in Toronto.

The record-breaking coaster travels at a top speed of 80mph and flies upside down throughout the three-minute ride.

Riders were lifted up a 250ft track before pausing for three agonising seconds.

They then squeezed through a tiny hole in a lake before flying through a narrow concrete tunnel.

The coaster then twists uphill in corkscrew fashion, before coming to a dramatic halt.

The floor-less ride holds 24 riders at a time in three rows, featuring the first 360-degree loop on a dive coaster.

Park director Peter Switzer said: "I think the drop is going to be the real draw for people.

"Most people will put their hands down for fear.

"I think when you're up at that height, looking down, [the pond] will be a small postage stamp and a lot of people will be wondering how we're going to fit our train through that."
