They looked at the total number of monthly internet searches for the top ten most popular bingo search terms to find out which areas were searching the most often for all things B-I-N-G-O.

Top ten bingo-loving cities
10. Glasgow
The Scottish capital can boast some bingo love.
According monthly Google search data, with consideration for population size, approximately 10,138 searches are made each month.
That means roughly 1 in 10 Glaswegians are googling online bingo.
9. Lincoln
Heading south from the Scottish border, this East Midlands city is the 9th most bingo-loving spot in the UK.
It records approximately 10,276 monthly searches for bingo.
8. Blackburn
Home of the Blackburn Rovers, and a fair few bingo fans, this town averages 10,358 monthly bingo searches.
7. Sunderland
The port city of Sunderland claims 7th place on this list, with roughly 11,649 month searches.
6. Newcastle
The Geordie shore has the Toon Army AND a legion of bingo fans. On average, Newcastle residents are making 11,975 monthly bingo searches.
5. Dundee
Jumping back over the border, Scotland’s fourth largest city nabs the middle place on this list.

With an average of 13,485 searches per month, searching key bingo terms could definitely be listed as “one of the things to do in Dundee”.
4. Liverpool
For every 100,000 people living in Liverpool, roughly 13,688 internet searches are made for bingo each month.
