The Scatter symbols that triggered the bonus feature transform into Wilds, these are the zombie bear symbols.
They only appear in the Free Spin round. These Wilds sit on the board and remain there for every free spin until the end of the bonus feature.
If Scatter symbols are spun in, each of the Wilds on the board pounces on its nearest Scatter symbol.
The Wilds consume the Scatter symbols and take their place. Their multiplier value is increased by 1x.
That multiplier then applies to all winning combinations that contain that Wild.
If multiple Wilds are part of the same winning combination, their multipliers are multiplied!
So, if one has a 3x multiplier and one has a 4x multiplier – that winning combination now has a 12x multiplier applied.
