WWE Monday Night Raw results: ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar and Goldberg face off ahead of their Survivor Series match
All the results from an explosive episode of Raw as tensions grow ahead of Sunday's pay-per-view
BROCK LESNAR came face-to-face with Goldberg on Raw as the fuse was lit ahead of their showdown at Survivor Series.
It was the first time the two men had been in the same ring since WrestleMania 20, and it did not take long for the explosion.
The Beast’s official advocate Paul Heyman took to the mic, but Goldberg refused to let him speak as he demanded the security to leave the ring.

Heyman refused to listen, and warned the former WCW champion that nobody would be there to save him at Survivor Series.
He continued the verbal assault before making Goldberg an offer to back out of the clash.
And he claimed the beating he would suffer would leave him so unrecognisable his son would call Lesnar “daddy”.
An enraged Goldberg exploded into life, taking out several of the security staff to leave just himself and Lesnar as the only men standing.
Any hopes of a fist fight quickly ended as the former UFC star walked away from the scrap, but it was clear he had got into the head of his rival.
The show kicked-off with Stephanie McMahon and Raw GM Mick Foley in the ring to address all of Team Raw’s competitors for Sunday’s Survivor Series who lined up on the stage.
They revealed that their SmackDown counterparts, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, would be in attendance that evening as they announced a number of match ups for the night.
“You are the best of the best. You are the greatest superstars in WWE today,” McMahon told her chosen ones before the in-ring action got underway.
The unlikely pairing of WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and US title holder Roman Reigns, two men who hate each, were ordered to team up to take on Cesaro and Sheamus.
Naturally, they did not get along and it did not take long for the bickering to start – but that did not stop them from claiming victory.
As Reigns lined up a superman punch on Sheamus, Owens tagged himself in to the dismay of his partner.
The “Big Dog” knocked out TKO before hitting Sheamus with a spear, then dragged his unconscious colleague over the Irishman man to claim the win.
Sami Zayn, who will challenge Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental title this Sunday, squared off against Bo Dallas.
And he warmed up for that bout by scoring a quick triumph after planting his trademark Helluva Kick.
Tag team title holders were next up on the menu as they took on Chris Jericho, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.
Y2J had earlier tried to give his team-mates a gift, presenting each with a new scarf, but both men rejected his present and tensions remained high going into the match.
After a back and forth contest, it was Strowman who claimed the pinfall for his team after planting a running power slam on Xavier Woods.
Seth Rollins, however, had the last word by hitting the pedigree on Jericho after the match.
Cruiserweight champ Brian Kendrick, who takes on SmackDown’s Kalisto this weekend, gathered momentum as he defeated Sin Cara with the Captain's Hook.
Bitter rivals Sasha Banks and Women's champ Charlotte Flair joined forces to tackle Nia Jax and Alicia Fox in an warm up ahead of Survivor Series.
The two came to blows during the bout, but still somehow managed to record a win when Sasha hit the Bank statement on Fox.
Fan favourites Enzo and Big Cass teamed up with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson as practice ahead of Sunday, where they will be on the same side in a 10-on-10 tag against SmackDown's finest.
Despite the obvious mutual dislike between the two teams, they overcame the challenge of The Shining Stars and Golden Truth as Gallows bagged the victory.
The show ended with a special Survivor Series summit as Stephanie and Foley returned to the ring and were soon joined by Shane and SmackDown GM Bryan.
Both sides argued the case about which brand was best, Stephanie then called her brother a "hypocrite" for taking a superstar's spot by naming himself in the his show's side for the upcoming PPV.
She then invited the team Raw superstars down to the ring and Rllins, Owens, Jericho, Strowman and Reigns duly arrived in the ring.
Team SmackDown were in the house, and they quickly provided the backup as WWE World Heavyweight champ AJ Styles and Owens exchanged verbals before the former was added to Jericho's list.
SmackDown mascot James Ellsworth then became the brunt of the jokes as he was also added to the list.
Bray Wyatt then addressed his former protege Strowman, accusing him of abandoning him, and he vowed to destroy the monster.
Dean Ambrose then stopped the talking by landing a punch on Y2J as chaos ensued, with both sides laying into each other.
But come the end of the brawl, it was Team Raw who stood small as former Shield members Rollins and Reigns teamed up to power bomb Styles out of the ring.
The fuse has been lit, and it will all explode this Sunday at Survivor Series.
