WWE beauty Lana to marry Bobby Lashley next week after divorce from Rusev
WWE have announced the wedding of Lana and Bobby Lashley will take place on Monday Night Raw on December 30.
The controversial couple will tie the knot at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecuit just weeks after the Ravishing Russian divorced her ex-husband Rusev.
Lashley, 43, was asked by his blonde bombshell, real name Catherine Joy Perry, to propose to her on this week’s episode of Raw.
And the man dubbed “The All Mighty” quickly responded by getting down on one knee to pop the question – which was duly met with a resounding “yes” by Lana.
Now WWE have confirmed the whirlwind romance will be united in marriage before the New Year.
A statement said: “It'll be a short engagement for Lana and Bobby Lashley.
“Following their surprise engagement on this week's Raw, The All Mighty and his ravishing lady love decided via Twitter that they don't want to wait until the New Year to tie the knot and will instead say their vows on the Dec. 30 Raw — WWE's final show of 2019.
“Consider this your save the date, your invitation and your early warning. Bobby Lashley and Lana are getting married, live Dec. 30 on USA Network.”
Lashley followed the announcement by tweeting: “You're all cordially invited to attend our wedding Monday, December 30! No better way to close out the year than watching us say 'I do'...@RusevBUL I'll save you a seat! Can't wait for it to be officially official @LanaWWE [kiss emoji] #RAW.”
While Lana tweeted: “Can't wait to walk down the aisle together as Mr. and Mrs. Lashley.”
The pair began their storyline in September after Lana turned on Rusev and revealed she was in a relationship with Lashley.
At last Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view, Lashley defeated his love rival in a Tables Match, just six days after Rusev had divorced Lana.
The diva and Rusev were married in 2016.
But she recently revealed how she had received death threats since the storyline.
She told ComicBook.com: “I personally have received a lot of death threats.
“I've gotten calls from like WWE and the FBI, people actually threatening WWE.
“Having death threats on me and the FBI has had to call me and protect me.
“And I get death threats on my comments on Instagram, on Twitter. I mean, people are bullies.
