Wimbledon 2019: Jose Mourinho takes in day four at SW19 – with pal Rafa Nadal taking on Nick Kyrgios in second-round
JOSE MOURINHO was seen taking in the sights and sounds of Wimbledon on day four of the tournament - with pal Rafa Nadal taking on Nick Kyrgios in second-round.
The former Manchester United boss, 56, was spotted on Court 12 as he watched Portuguese star Joao Sousa beat No13 seed Marin Cilic 6-4 6-4 6-4.
Earlier this week, world No69 Sousa had beaten British youngster Paul Jubb - but was expected to lose to Croatian giant Cilic.
Mourinho is also set to watch his old friend Nadal in day four's most-anticipated match on Centre Court - after revealed the tennis ace could have been a pro footballer if not for tennis.
On the 18-time Grand Slam champion, the Special One claimed: “He is incredible. I am happy he didn't, but he could also have been a fantastic football player.
“His uncle was my player in Barcelona in 1996. I know that Rafa can play football and well.
“So he could have played with his physicality, mentality, and his skill, too. He could be.
“Thank you so much he wasn’t. Because in tennis he is what he is.”

Mourinho worked with Rafa’s uncle Miguel Angel Nadal during their days together at Barcelona in the 1990s.
The Portuguese boss worked as a translator first then an assistant boss at Nou Camp under Bobby Robson and Louis van Gaal.
Mourinho, who knew the Nadal family well, is a big tennis fan and often comes to Wimbledon and Queen's.
