DOMINIC THIEM has blasted impatient Serena Williams, accusing her of having a “bad personality”.
The world No.4 exploded with rage when panicked tournament officials curtailed his post-match press conference to accommodate the losing American star on Saturday.
The Austrian, 25, said it was a “joke” he was forced to switch to a smaller press room as Williams addressed the world's media.
Thiem, who plays Gael Monfils in the Last 16 today, laid into Williams, saying established stars like Roger Federer or Rafa Nadal would show more courtesy.
He told : “It’s just the principle. It doesn’t matter, if it is me who sits in there.
“Even if a junior is in there, every player has to wait.
“It is a matter of course. It also shows a bad personality in my opinion.

“I’m a 100% sure Federer or Nadal would never do something like that.”
Federer and Nadal remain on course for a potential semi-final meeting.
The two aces cruised into the quarter-finals with identical 6-2 6-3 6-3 wins on the main court over Argentines Leonardo Mayer and Juan Ignacio Londero respectively.
