JOKER ANDY SWAPS JOBS

Andy Murray lets ball-boy play match point as he returns after month out for charity match against Roger Federer

ANDY MURRAY swapped roles with a ball-boy on match-point as he returned after a month out to face Roger Federer.

World No 1 Murray became the joker but could not stop super-hero Federer winning the charity match 6-3 7-6 (7-5).

The ball-boy prepared to serve and had Federer creased with laughter at the other end - by cheekily knocking a ball away for his replacement ball-boy Murray to pick up.

Australian Open champion Federer, 35 was then somehow aced but still won the decisive, second-set tie-break.

Now Murray, 29, is targeting next week's Monte Carlo Masters after returning smoothly from his elbow injury.

The Scot's last match was a shock second-round against Canadian Vasek Pospisil in last month's BNP Paribas Open.

After playing 'The Match for Africa 3' in Zurich in aid of the Roger Federer Foundation, Murray said:

"I'm hoping, if I keep progressing as I have with the elbow, to play Monte Carlo," said the Scot.

"If not, then I just need to stay patient and I'll try the following week. I'm getting there, I just have to go slowly."
