England's footballers last night defied Fifa by wearing poppies on their sleeves.

And cricketers on tour in India had a poppy stitched into their collars.

World football's governing body deem poppies a "political, religious or commercial message" and that is why teams are not allowed to wear them.

There were no similar rules surrounding the rugby team.

Prince Harry, also wearing a poppy, was at Twickenham to see England and he paid his respects to the fallen before the game.
