A GIANT youngster has shocked rugby league fans after ploughing through opposition players attempting to tackle him before scoring a try.
Despite being the same age as his fellow seven-year-olds, he is at least DOUBLE their size.
The Under-8s game near Sydney, Australia was caught on camera and shows the seven-year-old child running with the ball and effortlessly brushing off his rivals.
In almost cartoon-like footage, the lad makes a dash for the line with barely a sidestep, while his smaller opposition players can hardly knock him off stride.
After steamrolling through a second set of tackles he runs over the line for a try.
The Samoan lad plays for St Johns Eagles in Australia and the footage shows him playing against Berala Bears.
According to his club, he is a "gentle giant" - while Australia's rugby league authorities are being left to debate whether lads should be separated by age or size in the game's youth ranks.
St Johns Eagles chairman Nassa Matta told : "We just follow the rules. And there are some even bigger kids playing.
"The boy's a gentle giant. He doesn't just run through the opposition to hurt other kids.
"He's aware of his size. He could pick up kids with one hand if he wanted to, but he's just a nice gentle boy.
"He's a good kid from a good family who just loves playing footy.
"I don't want the kid to think he doesn't deserve to play footy because of his size."
Australian rugby league officials are concerned with the decline in participation numbers in the game and a touch version of the sport is being trialled.
