Rio Olympics 2016: Mongolian wrestling coaches strip to underwear in protest after their fighter Ganzorig Mandakhnaran is denied bronze medal
Mandakhnaran controversially defeated by Uzbeck and his coaches didn't take loss well - stripping off in the arena!
THE BRONZE medal match in the Rio Olympic's wrestling ended in farce as Mongolian coaches stripped to their underwear after fighter Ganzorig Mandakhnaran lost in controversial fashion.
After a closely fought contest - in which Mandaknaran looked to have done enough for a medal in the freestyle 65kg category - his coaches lost their rag when a late point denied him a place on the podium.
Mandakhnaran thought he had won and hugged his coaches before celebrating for about 10 seconds.
But unbeknown to the Mongolian fighter, he had been docked a point in the closing stages for fleeing - and had actually lost, prompting him to collapse in tears.
Both of his coaches marched onto the mat and started tearing off their clothes in a bizarre protest - provoking a stunned reaction from the capacity crowd.
An official flashed a red card at the pair as the farcical situation was brought under control by stewards - with the crowd bellowing 'MONGOLIA!'.
