Rio Olympics 2016: Christine Ohuruogu and Co take bronze in 4x400m relay to take Great Britain past medal tally from London 2012
CHRISTINE OHURUOGU and Co bagged a bronze in the 4x 400m relay to help take Team GB past their Olympic medal tally from London 2012.
And Ohuruogu believes Great Britain have struck fear into other countries - with Russia almost certain to finish outside of the top three for the first time since 1996.
Great Britain netted 29 golds, 17 silvers and 19 bronzes to reach 65 medals in 2012.
But they went one better last night as Ohuruogu, Eilidh Doyle, Anyika Onuora and Emily Diamond finished behind Jamaica and USA - who won their sixth straight Olympic title.
After winning a medal at a third straight Olympics, Ohuruogu said: "I've not really thought about but I think it's great that as a nation we're a force to be reckoned with when we step out at these Games.
"Across all the sports, people are looking at us and knowing that they have to up their game if they're going to beat us.
