OLYMPICS legend Sir Matthew Pinsent fears there will be no street parade for Team GB's gold medal heroes for the first time since 2004.
That comes despite Great Britain enjoying their most successful away Games ever.
The four-time gold medallist who dominated rowing with Sir Steve Redgrave claims to have been told there are no plans in place for one this year.
Sir Matthew, a presenter with the BBC, tweeted: "I've heard from 2 different sources today that there won't be a Team GB parade this year. Bit sad about that. 04,08,12 - now finito.
"Dear @MayorofLondon is this true about the Team GB parade? Binned apparently."
Other Twitter users backed calls for a parade - but not for it to be based solely in London.
