Viewers of BBC Four coverage were quick to point out bizarre scene aired live from Copacabana beach
THIS is the bizarre moment a man was caught urinating behind BBC presenter Dan Walker on live television.
Cameras caught the culprit as he walked down to waters edge on Copacabana beach and relieved himself.
The Football Focus and BBC Breakfast was totally oblivious as he talked through the action from Rio at around 11.30pm last night on BBC Four.
But it was clear to those watching at home what the male behind him had been up to.
And eagle-eyed viewers were quick to message him with what they had seen.
One wrote: "Guy behind you just having a casual pee in the sea."
Nick Keenan tweeted: "A pee in the sea. Glad the 10km swim's finished!"

And Walker, 39, who sometimes fills in for Gary Lineker on Match of the Day, replied: "Is this true? How did I miss this?"
This latest incident comes two days after Walker's coverage from the same spot above the iconic beach was interrupted by a hen party.
Walker revealed he had even been invited to the wedding - after giving the bride-to-be a kiss on both cheeks.
