FLOYD MAYWEATHER has told the Brit boxer rocking Rio with his devastating knockouts that he will be a world champion.
Joshua Buatsi, who is guaranteed at least a bronze in the men's light-heavyweight, won his first two fights with KOs.
And now he has been tipped for the very top of the sport by the man considered pound-for-pound the best of his generation.
Mayweather, who has been in Brazil watching the the Games, has been blown away by Buatsi's capability for destruction.
And he let him know just how much when getting together with the brawler from Croydon for a chat.
Buatsi, who will face Kazakhstan's Adilbek Niyazymbetov on Tuesday for a place in Thursday's final, said: "He said to me he had heard about me before I got here and that I was a great fighter, a future world champion.
"It was good to hear that from someone like Mayweather, who I think is the greatest boxer of our generation.
