Rio Olympics 2016: Great Britain men’s pursuit team receive hilarious passive-aggressive warning note from female counterparts

TEAM GB’s male track cyclists have been living it up following their epic win in the team pursuit.

Sir Bradley Wiggins posted a number of pictures to Instagram showing that he and his teammates were having a great time on the tiles after more gold success.

But it appears not everybody has enjoyed their antics after a night on the town.

It seems some of the men, in a drunken haze, accidentally stumbled into the women’s accommodation in the athletes’ village, prompting a hilarious passive-aggressive warning note.

Snapped by victorious Owain Doull on Twitter, the letter read: “To the team pursuit men… Congratulations!

“As we’re guessing you’re probably gonna be drunk by the time you read this, and a few of you have already come into our room accidentally.

“Just a friendly reminder that THIS IS NOT YOUR ROOM, so please don’t try and get in at 4am.”

Whether it keeps the likes of Wiggo and co. at bay for the remainder of the Olympics remains to be seen, with the cyclists thoroughly enjoying their time off in Rio.

But it appears the group are suffering for their antics, with Doull admitting that he was suffering with the worst hangover ‘by a country mile’, adding: “I haven’t slept. I’m running on fumes.”

However, teammate Ed Clancy claims the lads are already focused on the next Games in 2020, adding: “We’ve got Tokyo to think about so we are on the ball already.”

Mo Farah has also been celebrating after taking gold in the 10,000 metres, but it was heartbreak for Jessica Ennis-Hill as she could only take silver in the heptathlon.
