Rio Olympics 2016: Henrik Stenson comes face-to-face with an alligator and then prods it with his club
FORGET the threat of mosquitoes, Open Champion Henrik Stenson had a duel with an ALLIGATOR during the third round of the Rio Olympics.
Stenson's drive off the 10th drifted towards the water and after his second shot found the green, the 40-year-old took a stroll along the waters edge before coming across the Rio wildlife.
The Swede headed into the final round on Sunday just one shot off leader Justin Rose but that didn't matter to Stenson who stopped to prod the reptile with his club.
Health and safety obviously isn't high on the list of Stenson's concerns after claiming he was more scared of bears than the threat of Zika carried by mosquitoes.
