Daniel Ricciardo is too quick for Lewis Hamilton off the track as the Australian nabs the Mercedes star’s phone to post silly photos on the Brit’s own Instagram account
Hamilton was Ricc-pocketed on the podium after winning the Japanese Grand Prix to go 59 points clear in the world title race
LEWIS HAMILTON dominated on the track but was outsmarted off it by joker Daniel Ricciardo.
The F1 world title leader was Ricc-pocketed after his Japanese Grand Prix victory - as his Aussie rival nabbed his phone, took funny-face photos and posted then on Hamilton's own Instagram account.
Brit Hamilton had moved 59 points clear after his main rival Sebastian Vettel retired early on at Suzuka,
Red Bull duo Max Verstappen and Ricciardo took second and third places respectively without ever really troubling Mercedes star Hamilton.
But Ricciardo was the sharpest mover afterwards when the three took to the stage for the usual post-race celebrations.
Hamilton posed for a short video with Ricciardo but left his phone unlocked.
That was too tempting for known prankster Ricciardo.
He quickly posed for some silly selfies and uploaded them onto three-time world champion Hamilton's account.

Ricciardo - fourth in the drivers' standings - has previously become infamous for drinking champagne out of his shoe on the podium.
But his latest antics will make rival drivers even more wary of him.
Hamilton, though, will not be worrying too much - because he could lift the crown as early as the next race, the US GP on October 22.
He needs to finish 16 points ahead of second-placed German Sebastian Vettel.
And even if he fails to do that he has another three GPs to seal a deserved triumph.
