Lewis Hamilton puffs on a shisha pipe in Miami nightclub as on-track season stalls
British Formula One star caught smoking and drinking tequila from the bottle despite his shoddy start to the season
LEWIS HAMILTON shows he is over his disappointing start to his F1 title defence by posting raunchy videos on his Snapchat.
The world champion could not hide his anger after more mechanical woes in Russia saw his rival Nico Rosberg open up a 43-point lead in the championship.
But after flying to Miami, Hamilton was clearly enjoying himself in the latest of his controversial posts.
The 31-year-old, who doesn't race again for ten days, appears to be knocking back a bottle of tequila which can cost up to £500 a bottle.
And in another clip he apparently smokes a shisha pipe - a month after SunSport exposed him doing the same following the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Another video shows someone else, not Hamilton, slapping a woman's bottom, who appears to have money sticking out the top of her underwear.
Single Hamilton then dances with another woman and clearly seems to be enjoying himself on his way to an event in Barbados this weekend.
Hamilton last year said his heavy partying was to blame for an embarrassing car crash in Monte Carlo.
The three-time world champion was driving his 200mph, £1.4million Pagani Zonda supercar around the streets of Monaco at 3.30am when he smashed into three parked cars.
He said at the time: "It was a result of heavy partying and not much rest for a week and a half.
"I am a bit run down. I have been non-stop and trying to fit training in at the same time and not getting a lot of sleep."
Hamilton used to be virtually teetotal but now shows off his lavish exploits on a host of videos posted to social media.
He parties hard in Monaco, where he lives, and often with friends in Los Angeles and Miami.
And last year he even bragged about how much he can drink.
Hamilton said: "Up until last year I didn’t really drink a lot. It’s changed a lot this year.
"You’d be really proud if you knew how much I’d consumed. I plan the next couple of months to be party time."
That rock 'n' roll lifestyle has drawn comparisons to legendary F1 driver James Hunt.
The Mercedes driver said: "It is just work hard, play hard. I have just struck a real nice balance. At some points you are like ‘it is really on the limit’ and then I get in the car and I drive the way that I do.
"I don’t know if it is like James Hunt, it is a different kind of lifestyle. I don’t see any reason to change it. It is a real positive."
And after winning last year's world title he promised to hit the booze hard after his triumph was confirmed following the American Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.
And since the Mexican Grand Prix last November, he admitted there had been a bunch of alcohol-filled bashes - including his mum's birthday.
He said: "The party was amazing, couldn’t have gone better. I don’t feel as bad as I look.
"I am generally a really energetic person but that week after Mexico and the party we drank a lot and I was really feeling it.
"Then I had a photo shoot at Madame Tussauds the next day and I wondered why I booked it for the next day because I had to do pictures looking fresh.
"It was not enjoyable because it was only a few hours after the night out so I was still very much..."
