DARREN TILL has called out Conor McGregor for a superfight at Liverpool’s Anfield stadium.
'The Gorilla' was at the Reds 4-1 trouncing of Cardiff City yesterday and posted an Instagram story requesting a fight against 'The Notorious' in the 54,000 capacity arena.
He posted: “Let's go @thenotoriousmma and sell it out!”
The 25-year-old followed up his post with a picture of Anfield at night - again beckoning for a scrap with the Irishman.
He posted: “@t before your last retirement fight in 🇮🇪 The true 🦍”
Till recently lost to the welterweight king Tyrone Woodley and has spoken about moving up to middleweight - a weight that McGregor has never fought at.
McGregor is also looking to bounce back from his high-profile defeat to Khabib Nurmagedov earlier this month - which descended into chaos when Khabib attacked his team-mate Dillon Danis.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old has jumped straight back in the gym just three weeks after the loss.
He took part in a boxing session at the Straight Blast Gym in Dublin with his coach John Kavanagh.
McGregor has been on a business tour promoting his new whisky brand Proper Twelve.
On his return to training, Kavanagh said: “Few guys showed up for our Saturday boxing class today.
“Unfortunately coach couldn't make it so special shout out to their team mate for stepping up and taking it.
“Looks like the guys were put thru a proper work out.”
McGregor lost to Khabib at UFC 229 via a rear naked choke in the forth round - losing out on the chance to lift the lightweight world title for a second time.
