Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather to fight for £310,000 WBC ‘Money Belt’ made with three pounds of gold, 3,300 diamonds and alligator leather
FLOYD MAYWEATHER and Conor McGregor will be fighting for a special one off belt worth $400,000 (£310,000) this weekend.
The WBC unveiled the strap on Wednesday at the fighters’ last pre-fight press conference in Las Vegas.
The ‘money belt’ is made with three pounds of gold and a whopping 3,300 diamonds.
It also contains 600 sapphires and 160 emeralds placed on the belt and is made from alligator leather.
It’s not the first lavish strap that Mayweather has fought for in his glittering career.
The WBC made a special ’emerald belt’ worth $1m (£780,000) when he took on Manny Pacquiao in 2015.
Mayweather and McGregor are just days away from one of the biggest fights in history.

“MAYWEATHER is going to play around for six or seven rounds, give the vast audience their money’s worth, then take McGregor out”
ADD TO BETSLIP:
Both fighters made their grand arrival in Las Vegas on Tuesday before facing off at their final press conference on Wednesday.
McGregor was in typical confident mood at the press conference.
He said: “I’m going to outbox this man at his own game. That’s how much of a different league I am to this man.
“I’m going to f**k this man up. You should’ve left me where I was in that ruthless game where we bounce heads off the canvas.
“I’m very happy with how the camp has gone, everything has been amazing. I will go forward and put the pressure on him and break this old man.”
