UFC star Conor McGregor has joked he's launched a cheeky offer to buy Chelsea after bidding £1.5billion.
Though that offer is just half of what Blues owner Roman Abramovich is demanding as he aims to sell the club after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

McGregor joked he was eyeing up a shock swoop to buy the West London outfit after the Russian oligarch confirmed he was selling on Wednesday.
He tweeted: "I wish to explore this. @ChelseaFC."
McGregor, 33, then shared an animation of him as Chelsea's manager, while also having a chat with Abramovich in a club tracksuit.
Dublin native McGregor has now claimed he has put forward an offer after hearing that Abramovich is demanding £3bn.
Taking to , he quipped: "I hereby put forward my offer of £1.5bn."

Even if McGregor was serious about his offer, he would have to stump up double that figure to catch Abramovich's attention.
According to , a reported offer of £2.5bn from an unnamed bidder has been rejected by Abramovich.
Joe Ravitch, co-founder of investment bank Raine Group LLC, is the man in charge of seeking out the next owners.
And he said the club are eager to source a buyer who is the 'best steward' for Chelsea going forward, while also securing a fair price.
He told Reuters: "We are not going to rush anything. It is very important that Chelsea have the right owner to guide the club forward."
Egyptian billionaire Lotfy Mansour has already pulled out of the race to purchase the club.
It leaves the American-Swiss billionaire consortium of Todd Boehly and Hansjorg Wyss as current favourites to take over.
Though it has been said that Wyss does not plan on spending big in the transfer market.
