Ex-UFC champ Miesha Tate performed a heroic act by rescuing an injured six-year-old girl on a mountain hiking trail this weekend.
Tate, 30, carried the youngster with a broken arm down a mountain in Nevada on Sunday.
Tate became UFC's women's bantamweight champion by beating Holly Holm back at UFC 196 in March, but lost the belt in her first defence to Amanda Nunes in via a rear naked choke at UFC 200 in July.
Alongside pictures of her rescuing the girl, Tate wrote on Facebook: "Today a little girl broke her arm up at the top of Mary Jane falls (Mt Charleston) and I saw her meekly built mother struggling to carry her daughter down the mountain so I offered to carry the little girl to the bottom.
