See below for SunSport's latest updates from Las Vegas...

Holland secured a round one KO victory over Ronaldo Souza last night.

  • ALL ABOUT OLIVEIRA

UFC Presdient Dana White believes Charles Oliveira is one of the best middleweights in the world, after his lightweight victory over Tony Ferguson yesterday.

  • MORENO'S ANALYSIS

Speaking about last night's fight, Brandon Moreno says:

"I think the next fight will be very different because I felt his power.

"Everybody talks about his power you know, and with good reason because he looked impressive in his last performance.

"But I know I can exchange punches with him."

The best bits from last night's fight of the year contender.

  • BRUTUAL

Here's a look at Kevin Holland's savage Round One KO of Ronaldo Souza last night.

  • ISRAEL IN AWE

UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya had this to say about last night's war between Figueiredo and Moreno.

  • SCORECARDS

Here's a look at the judge's scorecards from last night's main event.

The fight could not have been much closer.

  • REMATCH

UFC President Dana White is eager to get Figueiredo and Moreno in the Octagon again next year.

  • RESPECT

    This is good to see.

Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno show each other the respect they deserve after a brutal fight at UFC 256.

  • I WANT MOR

Brandon Moreno has stressed he is keen to face Deiveson Figueiredo for the UFC flyweight title.

  • WHITE NOISE

Dana White revealed Jon Jones against Israel Adesanya is the fight he most wants to see next year - but fears it might not happen.

Jones recently vacated the light-heavyweight crown to make a move up to heavyweight, where Stipe Miocic reigns as champion.

n a similar move, middleweight king Israel Adesanya has stepped up to light-heavyweight and will challenge new champion Jan Blachowicz.

Despite the weight discrepancy, UFC president White is still desperate to see the rivals settle their score and tips it as the most exciting fight for 2021.

He told TSN: "As a fan, it's impossible for me not to love Jon Jones versus Israel Adesanya.

"I don't know if that's going to happen. I know Jon's moving to heavyweight and Adesanya's at light-heavyweight. But we'll see what happens."

  • SAVED BY THE BELL

Tony Ferguson refused to tap out despite his arm being bent backwards last night.

The battle-hardened star somehow didn't quit as Charles Oliveira locked in his submission move.

Oliveira sunk in a nasty armbar in the closing seconds of the first round but Ferguson simply refused to tap before the bell - even as his elbow bowed dangerously in the wrong direction.

  • IT'S CON

As if the return of Conor McGregor wasn't already a big deal, UFC have upped the stakes with a spine-tingling trailer.

The Notorious is set to face Dustin Poirier in the first major MMA event of 2021 at UFC 257 on January 23.

And according to the UFC, fight fans should "get ready for war".

That's how they are billing the rematch between the two stars in their trailer for the fight, which was aired during UFC 256.

It shows footage from their original meeting back in 2014, recapping all the talk before the fight and then McGregor's impressive victory in the octagon.

It goes on to show their journey's since then, with McGregor becoming a two-weight champion and Poirier proving himself among the very best in the lightweight division.

  • FIG WORRY

Deiveson Figueiredo was rushed to hospital after his incredible draw with Brandon Moreno last night.

The Brazilian left on a stretcher after the Fight of the Year contender in UFC 256's main event at the Apex Facility.

he short-notice flyweight title fight well and truly lived up to its billing, with both men trading heavy leather from the get-go.

Shortly after his post-fight interview, Figueiredo was taken to hospital to be looked over doctors.

When pressed on Figueiredo's trip to the hospital on Friday night, UFC chief Dana White said: "He didn't feel good so he went to the hospital."

  • BACK WITH A BANG

Cub Swanson scored a brutal knockout victory in his long-awaited return from injury, which took place in the UFC 256 prelims.

The UFC veteran - who spent the last year on the sidelines with a torn ACL - was welcomed back to the octagon by the durable Daniel Pineda.

Swanson made a fairytale return to the cage by scoring a brutal second-round KO victory, although he had to go through adversity to get it.

  • HOLL OR NOTHING

Kevin Holland staked a huge claim to be 2020's Fighter of the Year at UFC 256 with an incredible knock-out win.

The Dana White's Contender Series star's fifth assignment of the year saw him lock horns with Brazilian jiu-jitsu phenom Ronaldo Souza.

Holland went into the contest as the bookies' favourite and was brimming with confidence seconds before getting his hands on the fan favourite.

And it was that confidence that ultimately led to the 28-year-old picking up an unorthodox stoppage victory in the first round.

After getting Souza out of his guard, Holland cracked the BJJ ace with a vicious right hand as he made his way back to his feet.

Souza's arms immediately fell by his side, which allowed Holland to land four vicious punches before the referee jumped in.

  • LEAVING ON A STRETCHER

Deiveson Figueiredo has been taken to hospital, with the UFC star leaving the venue on a stretcher.

His manager posted this frightening image on his Instagram.

  • REMATCH, ANYONE?

Brandon Moreno wasn't shy in calling for a second crack at Deiveson Figueiredo after that gruelling five-round war.

And after that performance, who can blame him for wanting another chance to become the UFC's first Mexican-born champion.

  • IT'S A DRAW FOLKS

Deiveson Figueiredo's second defence of the flyweight title has ended in a draw.

The judges scored the contest 47-46, 47-47, 47-47, with the first scorecard being in favour of the champion.

I had Moreno winning the fight, but I can see why the judges scored it a draw.

That fight will live long in the memory. I hope Moreno gets the opportunity to face 'The God of War' again.

  • TAKE A BOW, BRANDON MORENO

Brandon Moreno has taken Deiveson Figueredo the distance.

The 27-year-old weathered an insane storm from the Brazilian to make it to the final buzzer.

And in the last round, he did it with a broken arm. I have him winning this fight by two rounds.

Let's see if the judges agree with me and if we'll hear, 'And new!'

  • BEST ROUND OF THE FIGHT SO FAR

The momentum has well and truly swung in Brandon Moreno's favour.

At one point, it seemed that Moreno was close to finishing the champion - who is taking deep breaths in the corner.

Everything to fight for in the final round. Could we have a huge upset on the cards?

  • WE MAKE IT TO ROUND FOUR

Thankfully, Moreno recovers and makes it to the fourth round.

Despite his groin strike being an accidental one, Figueiredo has been deducted a point.

He can't afford to make any more mistakes now.

  • A BREAK IN THE ACTION

Brandon Moreno is in agony after taking a front kick square in the you know where.

He's coughing and spitting. This isn't good. Hopefully he can recover in the allotted five minutes.

  • A CORKER OF A SECOND ROUND

I didn't think these guys could better the first round. Well, I was wrong.

Figueiredo continued to stalk the challenger and land huge power shots.

Moreno, somehow, managed to eat the champion's shots - although his face has began to wear the damage.

And the Mexican, in my opinion, won the second round with the takedown he secured.

Let's see if he can utilise the clinch in the third to try and negate the champ's striking and wear him down.
