UFC star Mike Perry shows off gruesome mystery cuts on head and hands just week before Vegas fight return
UFC welterweight Mike Perry showed off some gruesome mystery cuts on his head and hands just a week before he fights Mickey Gall in Las Vegas.
The 28-year-old returns to the cage behind closed doors, looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats.
But before his fight at the UFC's Apex Center, Perry took to Instagram to reveal cuts across his fists and forehead but did not clarify where they came from.
All he did was confirm he would still be facing Gall, as he captioned the post: "Fight is still on next week!"
Gall is most notable for beating CM Punk and Sage Northcutt, both in 2016.
The 28-year-old American has lost only twice in eight fights, winning his last against Salim Touahri in August 2019.
But still Perry thanked the UFC for giving him a "weak opponent".
He wrote on Twitter: “All of my opponent have been top tier for the past 3 years, Perry said.
“The best welterweights out there. So I’ve struggled a bit. To have a weak ass opponent like Mickey Gall for a real paycheck is a dream come true.
"Lol thanks UFC.”
Perry also made the shock announcement that only his girlfriend Latory Gonzalez will corner him for the fight against Gall.

He told : “All I need the corner for is to pass me the bottle of water.
“Wipe my head off or put the ice on my neck when I get hot coming in between the rounds. It’s probably not gonna go more than five minutes, and if it does, all I need is a bottle of water.
"I need to sip a drink, put some ice on my neck, and I don’t need no advice.”
