Conor McGregor wins UFC 246 performance of the night bonus for Cowboy Cerrone KO as £8.5m gate is revealed
CONOR McGREGOR earned a performance of the night bonus for his dominant win over Donald Cerrone.
The Irishman, 31, needed just 40 seconds to win at UFC 246 as he overwhelmed his veteran opponent inf ront of 19,040 fans.
And he joined Drew Dober, Carlos Diego Ferreira, Brian Kelleher and Aleksei Oleinik on the top performers' list.
The purse for McGregor's fight with Cerrone - which isn't even a title bout - is set for £3.8million as £8.5m was taken at the gates.
But once pay-per-view earnings are taken into account, the Dublin ace expects to land £60m.
McGregor is estimated to be worth £75.6m but claims he will be a billionaire before he turns 35.

He took aim at his detractors after his win - claiming he had not been shown enough respect.
Notorious said: “That shoulder shot is a good shot, I wonder what all those so called experts are going to say now. 'He’s only a left shoulder?'.
“Absolute lack of respect and true knowledge of the sport from some of these people."
Floyd Mayweather appeared to confirm he will have a rematch against McGregor later this year.

And Dana White added: “Me and Floyd Mayweather have been talking tonight and we are doing something with Floyd.
“We are both in each other's plans and we will do something together this year.
“Everyone talks about how rich Conor is but Khabib is rich, he has that kind of money, around $50million.
“But Khabib and Conor hate each other.”
