KSI goads Logan Paul by calling on him to fight failed UFC star CM Punk

KSI and Logan Paul finally shook hands after their scrappy rematch - but the Brit victor couldn’t resist one last dig by telling his rival to join the UFC and fight CM Punk.

YouTube sensation KSI scored a split decision win over his internet foe at the Staples Center in LA, and was left in tears after the verdict was announced.

And after settling the score over six wild but exciting rounds, Londoner “JJ” urged former high school wrestler Paul to switch to MMA and fight failed 0-2 UFC reject CM Punk.

KSI shot down a trilogy bout, as he said: “It's done.

“I'm on to the next thing.

“You should do MMA. You should fight CM Punk.”

CM Punk, like the LA main-eventers, walked into a combat sport and was met right away with intrigue and following.

But the former WWE champion’s switch from the wrestling ring to cage ended in misery after losing consecutive bouts - to Mickey Gall then Mike Jackson - and he hasn't fought since.

Paul revealed he planned to fight in the UFC after his pro boxing debut, but was left on the receiving end of a TWO point deduction against KSI, which cost the US star the fight.

The Maverick landed a flush right uppercut but hit KSI on the way down and then needlessly wolloped his rival while he was on the floor.

Referee Jack Reiss scored the knockdown, believing the initial right hand was already sending the Londoner to the floor - but punished the 24-year-old for the two illegal blows.

After the loss, Paul said: “I talked to the ref, I don't think a two-point foul with no warning was warranted.

KSI vs Logan Paul II: Round by round

“If I was KSI I would not take a third fight, today was just not my day. Maybe I will do more boxing in the future, if one of the seven celebrities wants to fight me.

“I love the sport and getting hit in 10oz gloves with no headguard is different but I feel good.

“I am trying to ask myself why I hit him when he was down because he was done.”
