ROGER Varian struck with a big-priced winner in the Musidora Stakes on Wednesday.
And the Newmarket maestro can repeat the feat with INVITATIONAL (2.25 York) in the Michael Seeley Memorial.
The filly opened her account in good style at Kempton in January and doubled up at Wolverhampton on her return from a break last month.
She was as keen as mustard that day and bowled along at a good pace on the front-end before quickening in taking fashion rounding the home turn.
The daughter of Poet's Voice settled the contest in a matter of strides and was heavily eased to win in a good time. The form has been boosted, too, with the second, third and sixth all winners since.
She has yet to encounter turf, but she moves as if she will relish a fast surface. There is no escaping the fact this is a hot race (I'm most fearful of Twist 'N' Shake) but she is open to as much progress as any for her in-form yard.
