THERE was plenty happening up and down the country on a busy Thursday.
We've picked out some key moments that you may have missed from a busy afternoon on the Flat and over jumps.
Performance of the day 😮
3.30 Perth - Bigmartre
Harry Whittington's smart chaser came roaring back to form in this valuable chase.
He jumped like a stag and travelled strongly throughout under Page Fuller before tanking clear.
He loves fast ground and could have plenty more success during the summer months.

A star in the making 🤩
1.40 Beverley - Iva Go
Tim Easterby's colt opened his account at the second attempt at Beverley.
The colt, who is the first winner for his sire Ivawood, was second on debut and went one better under David Allan.
He made all and held on bravely to win by a neck. He will win plenty more races before the season is out.

Moment to forget 😱
2.35 Warwick - Coopers Square
Poor old Charlie Poste had a moment to forget in the saddle.
He looked to have the race in safe-keeping aboard the prolific Coopers Square, who went as short as 1.04 in running.
But the 11-4 shot hit the last and idled badly on the run in and was caught close home by Danseur Du Large. Charlie must've wanted the ground to open and swallow him up.
