Monday racing tips: A Monday longshot to fill your pockets at Windsor from Jack Keene
Jack The Tipper shares an each-way bet to die for on Monday, April 15
I LOVE a bit of Windsor on a Monday.
It's a cracking little track and, more often than not, there are big fields with several good punting angles.
There are a few interesting ones in the Horse Guards Gin Festival 8th July Handicap, but I think THE PINK'N (3.30 Windsor) could upset a few better-fancied rivals.
The Seamus Mullins-trained three-year-old caused a 33-1 shock when opening his account at the third attempt over 1m1f at Goodwood in October.
The son of Melbourne Cup hero Dunaden was strong at the finish that day and he should continue to improve with time and distance this season, given his stout pedigree.
He will relish this step up to 1m2f (on breeding I think a few of the oppo are suspect stayers) and an opening mark of 79 is fair.
