I've got a spring in my step and a strong fancy in the Spring Cup on Greenham day.
I'm very keen on Roger Varian's IBRAZ (3.15 Newbury).
The lightly-raced colt had some smart handicap form last term, including a gutsy win at Sandown in June, and he lines up off an attractive-looking mark.
He had excuses when a beaten jolly in a hot race at Newmarket last time and he returns to action with conditions in his favour.
There isn't much speed on in this race, despite the huge field size, but he should get a lovely tow into contention from the only real pace-setter in Masham Star who is drawn in the adjacent stall.
