Saturday’s horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today’s racing from Callum Jamieson

Don't miss out on Saturday's best tip across all the cards up and down the land

ALL eyes will be on Ascot on Saturday, but there's one at Haydock who I'll be keeping a close watch on.

He has plenty in his favour and there's enough competition in the race to make him a workable price.

KATESON (Haydock, 4.10) should take all the beating in this Albert Bartlett Trial.

The Challow turned into somewhat of a sprint, not something this scopey grey will have relished.

But he stuck on for a more than creditable third in a race that will throw up Graded winners all season.

He's up to three miles here and the extra test Haydock offers will suit him down to the ground.

Tom Lacey has been in the winners' enclosure since racing resumed and I think the grey has so much in his favour here.

There's undoubtedly some threats in the field; but you'd expect that for a Grade 2.

I fully expect him to be too good for these and cement himself as a certified Festival chance.
