Saturday racing tips: Two Saturday longshots to fill your pockets at Ascot and Haydock from Jack Keene
Jack The Tipper shares a couple of each-way bets to die for on Saturday, February 16
WE have ourselves a Super Saturday ladies and gents.
Equine Flu scuppered Newbury's top card, but the action this weekend more than makes up for it.
In the rescheduled Betfair Hurdle, DIDTHEYLEAVEUOUTTO (3.20 Ascot) looks a good bet at 8-1.
Nick Gifford's charge wasn't seen to best effect in a muddling contest at Kempton over Christmas.
This race should be run to suit, while he is unbeaten in two visits to Ascot, including when beating the smart Thomas Darby here in November.
I'm adamant that a mark of 139 underestimates him, while the drying ground is an added bonus.
Jack The Tipper - Saturday's each-way picks
Ascot 3.20 - Didtheyleaveuoutto: Unbeaten at this course and a mark of 139 surely underestimates him
Haydock 3.35 - Pobbles Bay: Signs of a revival on his return and could relish this marathon trip
At Haydock, take a chance on POBBLES BAY (3.35 Haydock) in the Grand National Trial.
He had some smart form as a novice chaser - including a comfortable victory over Ibis Du Rheu - but last season was a total write-off.
Evan Williams gave him a spin over hurdles on his return to action and he ran with much more zest to finish third.
He gets in off a feather weight here and he appeals as the type to thrive over a marathon trip.
