Wednesday’s horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today’s racing from Callum Jamieson
Don't miss out on Wednesday's best tip across all the cards up and down the land
WHILE it's good to be back, in all honesty we may as well all had another day off with the racing on show this Wednesday.
However, I'll be having a tickle on a David Pipe handicap debutant at Plumpton and I think you should too.
DUC DE BEAUCHENE (Plumpton, 3.10) looked a horse to follow after his hurdle debut at Chepstow.
He ran well despite plenty of errors that day behind a good horse but it's safe to say things haven't gone to plan since.
However, he steps up markedly in trip here and faces a field mostly full of exposed and very average staying hurdlers.
It's a leap of faith to an extent but a return to earlier form and and this handicap mark could prove on the generous side.

He showed that two miles was far too sharp last time out here, when staying in eyecatching style to take fourth.
He's far from a world beater, but I'd be surprised if he wasn't better than these given a bit of time.
