Race 1 - 12.40 Connolly's RED MILLS Irish EBF Auction Novice Hurdle

A good opportunity for the exciting CITY ISLAND to continue his winning run over hurdles.

Grand National-winning trainer Martin Brassil holds the six-year-old in the highest regard and he could book his ticket to Cheltenham with a convincing win.

Chavi Artist is the preferred choice for the forecast ahead of Doyen's Diva.

VERDICT - 1. City Island 2. Chavi Artist 3. Doyen's Diva

Race 2 - 1.10 Cavan Developments Maiden Hurdle (Div I)

DEBUCHET was a classy bumper performer but he has been disappointing over hurdles to date.

Mags Mullins has found a good opening for him here, though, and he will have no excuses with conditions to suit.

Sky Marshal and Emily Moon are the pick of the opposition.

VERDICT - 1. Debuchet 2. Sky Marshal 3. Emily Moon

Race 3 - 1.40 Cavan Developments Maiden Hurdle (Div II)

ALL FOR JOY has been knocking firmly on the door under Rules.

The winning pointer will have come on plenty for his return to action in December and can open his account over hurdles now dropped back to 2m.

The consistent Advantage Point is feared most ahead of Fauguernon.

VERDICT - 1. All For Joy 2. Advantage Point 3. Fauguernon

Race 4 - 2.10 BBA Ireland Limited Opera Hat Mares Chase (Listed)

It's hard to see beyond the favourite PRAVALAGUNA here.

Willie Mullins' progressive mare bolted up at Limerick on her reappearance and has more than enough ability to cope with the drop back to 2m.

Mrs Lovett looks the biggest danger, for all she flopped last time, while Baie Des Iles was never going in the Welsh National but gets first time blinkers and Ruby Walsh now.

VERDICT - 1. Pravalaguna 2. Mrs Lovett 3. Baie Des Iles

Race 5 - 2.40 EMS Copiers Rated Novice Hurdle

Joseph O'Brien has an embarrassment of riches in the four-year-old department and looks to have another smart one KONITHO.

He eased to victory on his stable debut over C&D last month and will take plenty of stopping in his follow-up bid.

Stablemate Band Of Outlaws and Gordon Elliott's Coko Beach are the best of the rest.

VERDICT - 1. Konitho 2. Band Of Outlaws 3. Coko Beach

Race 6 - 3.10 O'Driscoll O'Neil Handicap Chase

VELOCITY BOY was stretched by an extreme trip at Fairyhouse in December.

He is worth another chance now returned to 2m4f off a favourable mark.

Nellie Pledge isn't opposed lightly, while Peculiar Genius holds solid place claims.

VERDICT - 1. Velocity Boy 2. Nellie Pledge 3. Peculiar Genius

Race 7 - 3.40 Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Hurdle

THEREISNODOUBT stretched clear for an emphatic win at Clonmel last month.

The handicapper has had his say, but he is clearly on the upgrade and this race isn't as competitive as it might look at first glance.

Leave Your Mark and Glendaars Warrior make each-way appeal.

VERDICT - 1. Thereisnodoubt 2. Leave Your Mark 3. Glendaars Warrior

Race 8 - 4.10 Jordan's Centra (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race

FRONT VIEW can complete a good day at the office for the red-hot Joseph O'Brien.

He was well-backed when second on debut at Gowran and can put his experience to good use now.

Zambezir is the clear second pick, while newcomer Jungle Junction is one to monitor in the betting.

VERDICT - 1. Front View 2. Zambezir 3. Jungle Junction
