Thursday racing tips: A Thursday longshot to fill your pockets at Doncaster from Jack Keene
Don't miss out on these each-way bets for Thursday, February 7 from Jack Keene
THERE is some cracking action over the sticks on Thursday.
The card at Huntingdon could provide a few Cheltenham clues, but I've unearthed one at Doncaster that should go well at a price.
Mark Walford's BIT OF A QUIRKE (4.30) was in red-hot form on the Flat last summer.
He rattled up a four-timer over middle distances, and he shaped with promise on his return to hurdling when fourth at Leicester last month.
The gelding got tired on the run-in that day, but it was his first outing after a break so he may well have needed it.
This flatter track will suit, he has been eased in class and a mark of 100 should prove within reach if he can translate his useful Flat form.
